For a quick snack, there is no better than a very good Jacobs cream cracker with some very mature cheese on it, but if you are wanting a hot snack then welsh Rabbit, that's two slices of thick bread toasted then buttered and cover with the same mature cheese, put under a hot grill until cheese melts then remove and proceed to burn ones self while trying to eat same, Good Luck Bon Aperitif

Both, but in the case of the toast, the bread has to be toasted with the cheese already on it, melting the cheese...

its good on both cheese on toast is more for individual meals breakfast,lunch cheese and crackers are a good snack for adults and kids and can be used for appetizers at a get together

try a little grated cheese in a pitta bread and pop it under the grill for a bit,,,,,,,,,,,,,makes a nice change from either although toast is way preferable to crackers
