if you're looking for nice highlights, i found that putting my hair in a pony tail whenever im in the sun, does it PERFECTLY!

Also, try spraying your hair with lemon juice before you go out in the sun. The natural acid will help lighten up your hair. My hairdresser told me to try that when my roots get long.

Well it's an old fashioned way of doing it, and it's cheaper than Sun In. Use Lemon Juice. It's natural and won't damage your hair as much and will give you lighter hair, but won't change your natural color much.

you can buy a product called lightening gel and put it on and sit out in the sun for a while. they also sell it in spray. if u wash u hair with chamomile tea it should also get lighter.

Try sqeezing fresh lemon juice over your hair and laying out in the sun.... keep re-applying it as the day goes on and just wash it out that night.

Try using a little lemon juice. You can find it at most grocery stores. My mother was a hairdresser and she told me that it should work although I have never tried it.

if u have blond hair just lay out in the sun it will lightn up ur hair while u tan!
