my experiance living in southern california for 35 yrs is most do not want to be americans they just want our money and they fight assimilating as much as they can they are more proud of a country that has done NOTHING for them then the country that has done EVERYTHING for them form schooling their kids to medical treament to decent jobs and home and cars . if they could and in some places already have they will do their best to turn the usa into mexico

You have to be more specific with a questions like this. Obviously some do, and some don't. Some just want to send money home to their families, some what to bring their families here. Some could be here for an education and their student visas are expired, making them illegals...

According to the PEW Hispanic research center. the majority of illegals (from Mexico) do not want to become American citizens. They dont not care about amnesty they have no need or desire to assimilate.

first of all what do mean by "Illegals"? and by "Americans do you mean United States Citizens? because technically most "Illegals" are AMERICANS! they are either from North AMERICA, South AMERICA or Central AMERICA. so maybe if you are able to re-word your question a little better I just might give you the answer.

No, they want to remain in their taxfree, jobstealing, refusing to learn the language of the land stage, otherwise they would go through the prosess legal imagrants go through to become citizenz.

Most don't. Most want to earn enough money to take back home with them or to send back to support families. Most are just working and can't wait to get home.
They just stay in the U.S. to collect some money, and work like dogs.

some do , some don't the ones that still wave the flag of their previous country obviously don't or they would wave an American flag place of the poverty stricken sad excuse of a countries flag they had to leave just to make half of what our minimum wage is.
