We were really close & good friends as teenagers & I had always loved him & things never turned into boyfriend/girlfriend....and then we both parted ways. We both went on to get married to other people & have two children each. I ran into him on Sat. & he hugged & kissed my cheek....we talked just like the good friends we were...very comfortable. He asked if I was still married & I told him no & then he told me that he is divorced now too. He told me to stop over his house some time & then we exchanged phone #'s. We talked about maybe going out for a drink some time & "catching up". His b-day is on Thurs. & I thought I'd text him...he'll be surprised that I remembered. I'm not sure how to handle this...I feel like this is a "second chance" for me. I'm not sure if he's seeing anyone or not. My question is should I wait for him to call or should I be the first to call him?

Wait on him to call, cause he's gotta have the same sort of feeling as you, if you want it to work. It looks like it could be a second chance, but still.......he needs to feel the same way, or it'll be an embarrassing moment for you. If he's got your number, and he feels for you, he'll call.....but, if I were you, I'd still wish him a happy birthday and see if he asks you out or something.

Yeah, I listen ya. My ideal chum offered a "bugg" (boston terrier pug) from a breeder, so I actual ought to type of watch what I say round her. I do admit that on the time i did not quite understand how undesirable a breeder that individual became, so i did not tell her on the time she became searching and that makes me experience like a hypocrite now if I do say some thing...besides..My cousin's fiancee has a huskie b!tc# he needs to reproduce and each and each and every time I listen about it I actual ought to assert some thing. i will not keep my mouth close and that i need to lecture the both one in each and every of them about to blame breeding and canines overpopulation; i'm hoping faster or later it is going to sink in. I also seek for procedures to elevate the placement of canines foodstuff because they're feeding Beneful...ugh. It makes me so unhappy and somewhat mad. With the marvel collar, my dad had to get one for one in each and every of our rescue canines yet mom and that i refused to allow him. i don't understand what the deal is with an electric powered marvel seeming better humane than spritzing with water. Frankly i'd have finished an similar ingredient with that wannabe breeder. Such finished lack of expertise and disrespect for living issues is not basic to tolerate.

Call him as a friend. The best relationships start of as friendships that blossom. It sounds like you had a connection once, so why not try to rekindle that and see where it leads. It cost nothing to make a friend, and where it leads could be priceless.

If things didn't work in the beginning what makes you think that they will work now? Obviously HE'S NOT THAT INTO YOU and never was or you would have been the woman he married. You want to be second looser? Cut your losses and move on.

If he doesn't call before thursday, call him and be like "Hey, I think today might be someone I know's birthday. Do you happen to know who it could be?" he will laugh and it will ease the akwardness you both might feel. I think it would be a good first step for you. Take things slow and good luck!
