Where can I dispose of old non-rechargeable batteries (in West Los Angeles, CA)?

In the West Los Angeles area; specifically in Marina Del Rey; Where can I take old non-rechargeable AA, AAA, C, and D batteries (instead of throwing them away)? I really hate the thought of them being in a landfill, polluting the environment...

If there is a Best Buy near you, they may have a recycling program, the one where I live does.
