Why would someone (gay or lesbian) want to get "married?" ((Have to ask since it's a religious practice.))

There's no religion where gay or lesbians are welcomed in to a "marriage situation." Why do they want to be included into something that is considered (by all religions) as holy matrimony? Holy matrimony = one man and one woman.

This isn't about "hate." This has nothing to do with hating someone or their "sin." This is an institution that has long been practiced. Why now does a small group want it to change to fit them and their practices?

They can have civil unions until the cows come home; as far as I am concerned...but marriage is Holy and sacred, well...it used to be anyway.

Just something to ponder...

((...and before you label me as something I am not...I love everyone, including gays/lesbians. I don't agree or condone their lifestyle but I won't judge them for it either...not my place and it's not my job)).

There's nothing to address about inter-racial dating/marriage.

I have no problems with interracial marriages/relationships. That is completely acceptable! But same sex relationships is a problem because it is totally unnatural. Aside from what the Bible says, which I agree with, homosexuality is just straight up wrong.

Please understand that I do not hate gays. I have a lot of gay friends. I just do not condone their lifestyle and they know that. And they respect me for my beliefs and I respect them for being who they are.

Some people envy freedoms they dont feel they themselves have. Why hate on someone else's love? because the hater does not feel that love themselves. i am for happiness do what it takes, i mean that! if you need a gay situation you know it. dont lie to yourself anymore. find a lover of a different ethnic group. in both cases you'll only learn. forget what your stupid mother has told you, really. that is how i remain happy with mine!

Amen, LittleMomma!
It's great to have beliefs, just don't foist them on everyone else, or expect everyone else to practice them exactly like you do.

This is especially true of hate-spewing 'christians' who preach bigotry, discrimination and therefore violence against gay people. This is exactly contrary to their teachings. WWJD?

If he somewhat is an outstanding guy, then do no longer hold close him up. only say, "you understand, once you pronounced you only had to stay friends, i think of that alter into the final element. i'm no longer finding for a dating suitable now, and that i do no longer think of it could artwork out, purely for that reason. enable's only depart this at friends for now." you do no longer could desire to tell him something different than "No." of direction, you want to be superb and not purely overwhelm him, yet do no longer string him alongside with "enable's take it sluggish" once you somewhat understand the respond is going to be, "no longer in this lifetime."

not sure exactly what response you're looking for here. you'll probably be flamed by conservatives. good luck with that.
i try to worry about myself, too, and wish that others did the same.
