I'm glad that I had so many positive responses. I figured that many more people would be jerks and have negative comments.

i would not judge but also I'm not a parent but i wouldn't judge them just because of who they love or choose to date but all you could now is that they are experimenting

My pops freaked on me when I dated a white girl in high school, I stood up to him and for her. It took some time but he got used to it. As a black guy I've met some fathers and most of them were't feeling me becasue I'm black but after a few conversations they say that I had respect and they came around. You should always be suspicious but not becasue of the race, just becasue this is someone your child is opening themself up to. So make it clear that you are concerned but not because of the skin color of the kid. Then watch if the guy/ girl is respectful and of no casue for danger then be cool until it's time not to be cool. Your the parent, so I applaud you for being suspicious, don't let some idiot take you child down the wrong path. Just make it clear that race isn't a factor of your suspision, Don't Lie either kids know when youre lying and thats disrespectful. Tell your kid the truth.

They aren't any different if they're bi-racial, they're still a person. Treat like you would if they came home with a bf/gf of the same race. Just let them have fun!

I've added a little color to my husbands family. The response was fine. The funniest thing was his grandmother asking what color our children would be. We were like 19 at the time and definitely not thinking of children.

This question has been asked to me before, and my response is still the same.
As long as this person makes my son happy and has his best interest @ heart, then I don't care if they are purple. It's HIS life and he has be comfortable with the choices he has made, not me. I will love him reguardless.

Does he or she treat you nicely ?
does he or she respect you ?
If they answer yes to both questions and you have spoken with them boy or girl in question.
ask them if they want some money to go buy ice cream or golf because you have nothing to worry about
