But when you are talking to Christians and show them the differences in their bible, or their teachings they saying not every Christian is a true Christian. Many Christians conceder Catholics are wrong while Catholics (majority) will conceder others to be wrong. According to Christian’s encyclopedia of 2001 there are 33800 denominations of Christianity. All of them can’t be right but all of them can be wrong. SO the question is why when Christianity needs to show how big they are, they count every one but when you show the differences they tell you that not every one is a Christian. Isn’t this is being dual personality?

Christianity like the human race has many different cultures. Does this make them less Christian by belonging to one sect or another. No. Just like I am Caucasian doesn't mean I am less or more than the person that is Asiatic or African. It means I am from a different culture. Maybe I have an unusual way of looking at things but I taught my children the same.

A Christian is one who has accepted Christ as his Savior, and repented from his sins. Differing denominations, if they have Christ at the center, as the Savior are Christian churches. There are many differing opinions about rites like baptism, communion, etc, whether music is loud or soft, all kinds of things. Just like our homes can be as different from each others as night and day so are our churches. Christians are not perfect and a real Christian will never claim to be. As a Christian, I don't believe that any one denomination has all the answers, but I do believe that God will sort it out easily and leave many of us pounding our forheads going "duh, I knew that". But the whole heart of it will depend upon each persons personal walk with God.

Anything can be considered a miracle. I would like to see a list of how many children who died of cancer, were murder, raped, abused and still had faith in the bible.

The number of people who believe in the bible and have experienced tradegy in their lives would be just as much, if not more.

This is just rediculous to quantify.

They could say that "birth" is a miracle. Anyway to recruit more uneducated people and suck in their money.

To answer your final question, Christians cant answer questions properly. When asked about evolution, they always are quick to change the subject. They want to quickly dismiss anything that questions religion or the bible.

statistics are generalizations!

the people that would identify with Jesus is a broad figure.

however, if you subdivide that group into who Jesus is it becomes smaller clusters.

just remember what Mark Twain said,

there are three types of lies. Lies, Damn lies and Statistics!

People use stats to enhance their points!

That is why we are so dumb as a human race!

Statistical significance does not equal fact but people live by them and equate them to science.

Read your statistics carefully! Some say oat bran is great, others say it is bad!

Just like basing Christianity on the things you read in yahoo answers would be very short side!

I'm more concerned about Scientology. They have about 50,000 members worldwide but they claim to have about 8,000,000.
