It isn't exactly the I love you, but it does mean he is thinking long term about you. Sounds like you are on the right track.

No, It doesn't mean I love you. I agree with another answer, it simply means that He's enjoying it very much and would like more of the same.
Guys do not do subtle, if we do something subtly, it usually means we are up to something, or trying to get out of something. The better question is, do you love him, and after 6 months of dating, if you don't, why not? And if he doesn't, why doesn't he.
Unless both of you have very casually been dating, it might be time to rethink where you are going with the relationship.

Wow 6 months and you guys haven't said I love you yet! That's kinda unusual usually it's 3 or 4 months before it slips out. But I think that that could very well have been his way to test the waters before actually saying i love you. Maybe you should say it first.
I dare ya

Geez, that’s a hard one. I think it may depend on how your relationship is. Do you go out, have fun, watch movies, talk or is it a sexual relationship that doesn’t extend further than the bedroom? It could translate to love but it could mean that he likes things just the way they are.

It does, he's just not ready to come out with it. He's saying he could get used to you being around 24/7 because he likes the way you make him feel

Words are only 7% of communication.
How did he say it? How did it make you feel?
I think you know.
But, having said that, if he loves you and he's afraid to say it yet -- don't force the matter. Give him time.

it means he's starting to warm up to the idea of allowing himself to say he loves you. but it's totally a "feeling out" statement. he is definitely diggin' it though so it's only a matter of time.

No it doesn't translate.
He must say he loves you. But you don't have to wait for him to say it first, you can say it when you mean it too.
Then you can check out his reaction when you say it to him. He might say it back straight away, or he may look away. however he responds you will get your answer.
