Sometimes I'm ashamed to be British,
Obviously you have met them "all" to be able to put forward this profound statement.
I suppose you could also ask, why have Brits got such a chip on their shoulder, grow up you prat!!!
On these Q&A's there is no end of USA slagging off, have you got nothing else to be worried about?
I'm am no huge fan of US foriegn policy etc but what they want to do at home is of no concern to anybody but themselves. It really is patronising and ignorant to be calling them all "dimm".

Doesn't this have something to do with that "Second Amendment" and the right to bear arms? I'm not American, so I don't know for sure. I see it represented in that gun episode of the Simpsons way back when. Basically, the idea was to bear arms to "defend" your home (or country) and it was never the same after that.

Thank you for the question, I wasn't aware that the country you refer had a culture of bad guns. Sort of paradox really, what use are bad guns. Mind you seeing as you were being reproached for your spelling by an american, I think we will have to turn the guns on ourselves!

Dim is spelled with one m.
We have such a gun culture because of the history of our country. Read a little. It will improve your spelling.

because if a crook thinks you have the ability to kill him he's a whole lot less likely to break into your house in the middle of the night.
And the second part...we're not. just see little point in conversation with people who choose to go out of their way to insult and criticize us. Why are y'all so rude as to come to an AMERICAN based forum with FREE SPEECH that many don't have and insult us?

What small problems we do have could be solved easily if it weren't for bleeding heart liberals always trying to give somebody a second chance.
