To remove it from the hair you will need to use products that are made for this purpose. Your hairdresser can recommend some chelating and clarifying shampoos. In unusually difficult cases, where the hair is extremely porous (such as bleached hair) your hairdresser may need to apply a color stripper chemical treatment.
To prevent it's reoccurrence, you have to keep your hair out of the pool! If that isn't possible then you can minimize the hair's porosity by wetting the hair thoroughly before entering the pool. A good conditioner before swimming may help too.
Hope this helps~

First, get a hat.
Second, call your hair dresser--tell her what happened, not what color you want it, she will tell you what colors she thinks she might be able to get it to and it won't necessarily be blonde. The chemistry gets a little complicated and part of it has to do with your hair.
Third, consider a wig to have handy if you insist on both keeping colored hair and visiting chlorinated swimming pools (which is certainly preferable to visiting unchlorinated swimming pools in most cases).
Good luck.

The green tint can be fixed but be sure to go to a professional to have what's called "corrective color". There is nothing that will take the chlorine out of your hair, once it's on there it's there for good until it grows out.

DO NOT DIE OVER IT!! I REPEAT, DO NOT DIE OVER IT!!!! it wont work and will make it worse!!! try a swim shampoo or a clarifying shampoo--trust me, been there done that- i have platinum blonde hair and go swimming every day
i reccomend loreal kids swim shampoo (and i use it and im not a kid- it works well anyways!!!) or suave clarifying shampoo cause they have many good smelling scents
go to a salon and they have stuff that works VERY,VERY well- its expensive buyt wash ur hair once and the green disappears!

There are some shampoos out there to help with getting rid of the green in your blonde hair, also, you should rinse out your hair immediately after getting out of the pool.

If you keep dying it you could end up making it worse. There are products out there to wash chlorine out of your hair, or call a hair salon/beauty supply store to see what they recommend. Good Luck!!

Go to your hairdresser and she can usually use a special shampoo to get it out. From now on, use conditioner on your hair before getting in the water, pool or beach, to fill cuticle of hair as not to absorb clorine.

Been there and done that. If you dye it again the chlorine will work its magic again. I thought that they had some dyes which were no longer affected.
