Well cats can have allergies. One of my cats has been sneezing a lot and he was just at the vet Sat. and the vet told me that not only could it be allergies but any problems with their teeth can also affect their sinuses just like ours. I wonder if your kitten is cutting teeth and that may bee affecting her. You might just call and ask the vet. I call my vet all the time with questions. With her eyes and nose running she could be sick cats can get colds as well. Its best to call a professional!

My petite kitten was 3 lbs at 12 weeks, I believe. That was the week I got her. Sounds like your kitten isn't doing too bad if it was a runt. As for the sneezing, I don't know. Allergies or a cold? You could call the vet and see if they think its something to be worried about or just watch.

Cats get colds just like humans, that may be the problem. It could also be allergies. 2 lbs isn't really that big a deal at 11 weeks. I have a 4 year old cat that still only weighs 6 lbs. She didn't even hit 5 lbs until she was a year old, so don't worry too much.

i have had a lot of experience with this. i've had cats in the past with these problems and my current kitten is 9 wks old. he was sneeing for 2 days before i brought him to the vet. i knew it was the start of of respiratory infection, which is very common, especially if it is a rescued kitty. but ur kitty can take a trun for the worst very fast, i had a kitten who sneezed all day for one day and the next day he was so ill, they didnt kno if they could save him. kittens are usually too young to show signs of allergies my vet said. my kitten has been on antibiotics and prednisone.it is possible that the kitten is reacting to the vaccine also. but dont take sneezing lightly when it comes to cats.

Ask your vet about the sneezing. My kitten was the same way when I fisrt got him. The vet told me it was just a small sneeze. He gave me something to give him once a week and it cleared up on its own mostly. (but this is only if the vet can find nothing wrong)

If she keeps sneezing she might have the start of an Upper Respitory infection, or she might have sniffed something up her nose. I would have a vet look at it....you don't want the infection either way to get any worse.

Maybe you're keeping your house too cold, and she' s catching a cold. I think she should be maybe 2 1/2 to 4 pounds. Not more than that. But maybe a vet could tell you, for sure.

My cat sneezed whe he was little too. He grew out of it. The vet said he might have been allergic to my ex smoking around him, but it stopped when he got older. I had roommates that smoked and he was fine but he is 3 now.

All cats sneeze when they are kittens because they need to get the smell of your house into there systems..
