Since your question is in the Grade Schooler category, I'm going to assume that you're pretty young and that you haven't had your period for very long. It takes a couple of years for your body to establish a regular cycle. If I'm correct about your age (and you're not having sex) then there's probably not anything to worry about. If you're older and your period has previously been regular you should ask your doctor if everything is OK. And, of course, if you have been having sex, you need to find out if you're missing your period because of pregnancy.

If you've recently started having periods, it's nothing to worry about, as periods sometimes take a while to get regular. If you've been having regular periods for some time, and you have not had sex, absence of periods could be down to stress (are you under pressure at school, or have you had something stressful happen in the family, such as moving house or a bereavement?) Also, it could be caused by not eating enough, and can be associated with eating disorders.

If neither of these is the case and you are sexually active, you could be pregnant. Get a home pregnancy test and use that to find out. Whatever the result, I would still go to your doctor to either get your pregnancy confirmed, or ask about why you are missing your periods. Also, if you are having sex, please make sure it is safe. But remember, it is illegal to have sex if you're under 16.

Hope I've pointed you in the right direction.

If you've been sexually active you may be pregnant. If not and your an athlete of sorts your having amenorea (sp)-temporarily your period stops because of strenuous physical exercise. Also if you have a major weight gain or loss your period can be thrown out of wack. To be on the safe side you should go see a doctor to confirm that all is well.

i think you need to tell your parents so that they can take you to the doctor and see whats wrong,or it could mean you are pregnant because when some people are pregnant they don't have their period either, but to find out whether you are pregnant or not with out anybody knowing go to a store where they sell pregnancy tests and go home and take it and you will know whether you are pregnant or if you are not pregnant,if your not pregnant pick your mom or dad to talk to who ever is the nicest and tell the to promise not to tell the other parent and then tell them the problem

Sometimes when you first start having periods they won't be regular. If you are worried about it...see a Dr. Unless you have been having unprotected sex then there is nothing to worry about.

It can mean a lot of things - it all depends on how old you are and what type of recreational activities you have been involved in lately

Have you had sex? If so, it is certainly a possiblity you are pregnant. See a doctor.

If not, then you need to see your doctor to find out what is going on.

You need to go to the doctor. Maybe it's due to stress or if you're of age to have sex you could be pregnant.
