I'm sorry this is my sisters name I don't have a yahoo and not interested in getting one. My name is Marley I am 18. I am going to Hawaii. Whats the best time to go? How much is it to travel from island to island? Best cell service there? Places to visit not to visit? How much money should I bring? Is it dangerous to go there for two months alone? Any other thing would be great.

I think you should probably have someone travel with you or at least meet you in Hawaii but if you have your heart set on it, Hawaii isn't so bad to travel to alone since it's still a US state. I recommed taking a cruise to the islands--it's the cheapest way to see them all you can also prebuy excursions and have transportation from and to activities from the boat. It will be pretty much impossible for you to rent a car while in the city since you're not 25 yet--so you will have to use public transportation or cabs to get around. In places like Waikiki it's easy to find transportation ---you can walk almost everywhere or snatch a cab on other islands this proves more difficult.

Also look into STA travel (Student travel rates -only applies for those under the age of 26!) http://www.statravel.com/cps/rde/xchg/us_division_web_live/

They can also help hook you up with other people doing a similar thing as you and in a similar peer group.

If you are going to be in Hawaii for 2 months traveling alone you should check out hostels for sure. Not only are they the cheapest option for accommodations ,but they are also a great way to meet other travelers that you can hang out with so you don’t have to always be alone in your adventures. People staying at hostels are usually 18-30 years old and usually traveling solo or as couples or small groups.

Best time to visit Hawaii is September - November because it is the slow season for tourism, the beaches are less crowded, and there are usually good deals on flights and accommodation. Also fall has the best weather for Hawaii it is cooler than summer (80-85 degrees), good trade winds keep the humidity down, and the water is still nearly as warm as the air.

Being in Hawaii for 2 months is not necessarily dangerous it has a lot to do with where and when you go. If you want to venture out at night Waikiki is for sure the safest place to be .the streets are very well light and there are people everywhere.

Things to see and places to go really depend on your personal taste but I would for sure recommend a few places. In Waikiki the hike to the top of Diamond Head is one of the most popular things to do, with good reason. You get an incredible view of the south Oahu coastline, you can pretty much see all of Waikiki and Honolulu, and on a really clear day you can even make out Maui and Molokai in the distance. Polynesian cultural center is a great place if you want to check out a luau, it’s like a pacific islands Epcott center with less commercialism. They have villages representing all of the major Polynesian peoples.

Oahu north shore must see locations include Waimea Bay, Haleiwa town, and the Surf Museum.

Big island you will most certainly want to check out volcanoes national park.

Maui..... one word Haleakala !

there are a lot of good websites to get info about hostels in Hawaii and Hawaii in general.

Where are you going to, Ohau? The best time to go is the fall... there is less tourism traffic them and you can usually find cheaper flights. You can get $38 interisland tickets to island hop. There's Mobi cell service here if you dont already have a cell phone, but most carriers work out here already. You really dont want to go out alone at night here... if you're downtown just make sure you stay in the lighted areas and dont go on the beach or any parks! You'll probably want to invest in a car while you're here... check out craig's list (www.craigslist.com) to get around. A bus pass is $40 a month, gas and milk are really expensive. There is a big homeless population here... just a heads up.

How approximately this, in case you reside to tell the story Maui your additionally able to bypass to 2 different islands via ferry. Moloka'i and Lana'i is in basic terms a ferry holiday away and that they the two go away from the Lahaina Pier. you ought to seize the morning ferry over and be lower back on Maui that evening. i could could desire to advise a minimum of spend one total day on each and every island. there is plenty categories of elegance on each and every. the costs are very functional and the locals are surprising. good luck and that i'm hoping you desperate to do it this form. that is like killing tree birds with one stone.

On Oahu, take the city bus (thebus). That is the only island that i have ever been on (visited five times). I have been in May four times, and in April once.
I would at least bring $3,000 since you will be going to diffrent islands, some travelers checks also.
Mostly have fun!!!!
