What is the best book or program for everyday Spanish. I have taken courses in Spanish, but didn't help much. Hispanics speak alot differently in the real world. Any suggestions?

Sorry, I can't think of the name of the material, but if you go to Barnes and Noble, they have training manuals on conversational Spanish which is what you want. Also, Best Buy has some really inexpensive conversational Spanish cd rom's that you can use.

go to a spanish-speaking country. studies have shown that 3 months of full immersion (being around nothing but speakers of that language, and speaking that language yourself) will make a person fluent. no program can compete with that.
