I have had the best luck using a very simple marinade. I usually use a couple of tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil mixed equally with some Worshestershire sauce. To this I add dried parsely, salt, pepper, and Cavendar's seasoning (it's sort of like a seasoning salt and garlic powder). I just put all of this in a Ziploc bag, shake it up, and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. I've used this on everything from chicken to steak to shrimp. For barbequing I'll use KC Masterpiece original or hickory bbq sauce, E.V.O.O., and a tablespoon of honey, plus all the spices. This is great for chicken and pork!

Popular flavorings for shrimp include lime, lemon, coconut, and garlic. Shrimp take an acidic marinade well so mix some lime juice, lemon juice, or diluted vinegar with your choice of spices.
I like lime juice with coconut, cumin, and cilantro.
Or lemon juice with garlic, paprika, and chervil.
Or maybe a little cider vinegar cut 1:1 and mixed with onion or garlic powder or juice, and finely chopped apple.
Shrimp is one of the easiest and best seafoods to grill with a marinade, but remember that it takes strong flavors to live through the grilling! I usually add a few drops of liquid smoke to any marinade I'm using with them.

olive oil, fresh garlic, lemon and pepper. Warm oil in a pan on low- medium heat with whole crushed garlic cloves and lemon zest from one lemon for about 10-15 minutes, remove from heat and pour in a bowl... let chill to room temp. Add 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice and 2 tsp pepper and shrimp... marinate over night... skewer and grill the next day! It's great over pasta with garlic cream sauce or as an appetizer or thrown in a summer salad!!

Try some garlic salt, pepper and olive oil. Sautee the shrimp in a good quality butter.

I brush them with a little olive oil, sprinkle with kosher salt and freshly ground pepper. Grill them briefly or they'll get tough! Then serve with lemon wedges on the side.

I saute my shrimp in a pan with canola oil, garlic, and parsley. Canola oil doesn't turn into saturated fat when cooked, so that's the one I use. Saute until they get a little browned, Yummmmmmmm!

garlic
parsley (freah)
lemon juice
salt
pepper
olive oil
Add to a bag and marinate for 30 minutes.
Lawrys also has some good seasonings on the shelf and so does Emeril.
Hot BBQ sauce would be good too, or wing sauce.

Lemon juice and cayenne pepper (and of course salt).
Oh and a bit of garlic powder if you don't mind the smell.
