it says that this man lived to be 900 years old and that man lived to be 600 years old and so on.... so wouldn't this be a sign of de-evolving insted of evolving as non believers would have you think?

probably yes.it is known that a long time ago there was a species of giant humans and slowly they became what we are today. This size
de-evolution may apply proportionally to age but lets not forget that in time people evolved from a life expectancy of 20-30 years to 90-100 today. Of course there may be the possibility of age de-evolution to a point and from that point evolving again.

yep.. I tend to agree with you.

Folks talk today about "lost civilizations", ie Atlantis, and knowledge from the library at Alexandria, etc.

There seems to be a lot of stuff going on, - well before "modern society". In fact one preacher said that cave men were people shunned by society, headed north away from civilization, cultivation, farm life, and survived in caves hunting animals.

It's also kind of interesting that all the cultures around the world have the same basic story about a "great Flood".. ie Noah.

Is this by chance?? or a common ancestry?

BTW.. If "smart" people go to college, wait until early 30's to have kids, and then only one at best, while the lower-class folks pop out 6 kids, -then yes devolution is a fact, - we'll be over run by janitors and ditch diggers with an ever decreasing lower IQ in a couple of centuries!!

Actually it was from a change in climate.

Prior to the flood we lived in a terrarium of sorts, no rain, just a misting from the ground for the land, and a canapy (firmament) of water above the sky.

Perfect temperature all the time, no storms, disasters etc.

After the flood, things (including man) did not live as long.
There are still sightings of we would call modern day dinosaurs in deep tropical climates, pictures of small triceratops are some that I have seen, taken by credible missionaries, who were amazed at the sightings themselves.

Our canapy was now gone, we now have storms, etc, and none of us including the animals live as long on earth anymore.

Your right, we are de-evolving. In the beginning our alien genes that allowed people to live for hundreds of years were very storng. But now they are being diluted with each new generation.

Evolution has nothing to do with it. Once sin was introduced into the world, the concepts were so new and so destructive that it had to TEACH the body how to die. As generations got more and more sinful, the progression of sin took less and less time to "teach" a person to die, therefore aiding in creating shorter lifespans.

De-evolving, yeah, pretty catchy. Personally, I think its because we started eating meat. Before the flood, there was no meat eating, it was only after that God said we could do it, because there weren't enough plants left to sustain us.

Yes, I believe in deevolution; the second law of thermodynamics applied to genetics. That's why there are so many allergies and genetic diseases now.
