Very unlikely - only if the pup poops in your bed. Or if you don't wash your hands after touching his hind end.

There are other reasons why it's bad to let the dog sleep with you - it can set you up for big problems when she's older.

If they're in bed with you, you're giving them the impression that they are your equals - you need to be the boss. And (like a baby) a puppy can be seriously injured or even suffocated if you turn over in your sleep.

Read some great books on training. (Try not to pick books randomly - there are a lot of bad books out there also!) These are some of my favorites and you can get them on Amazon.com

I have raised dogs for the past 38 years, and had several dogs before that.
Most pups are born with worms, and it takes several weeks to get rid of them all.
None of my family has ever gotten worms from dogs...NEVER.
Yep, as my kids were growing, they always had a dog sleep with them (or cat)....including 23 foster children...Nope, none of us ever got worms.

No. But I wouldn't be able to have them in bed with me...just the thought of those worms gives me the heebeejeebees!

Go to the vet, otherwise those worms may prove fatal.....to your dog.

no. when they come out of the bottom, they are usually dead. Its gross but as long as you don't eat them, you will be ok. I suggest calling your vet for a deworming pill.
My cat had the same problem and all we had to do was shell out six dollars give her a half of a pill and she is all better for good.
