try a half teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water (8 oz.)...trust me, it works

If you have a box of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda...you can use that. A fresh box would be best. The directions are on the box.

If not, eat some bread and drink water to absorb acid until you can get out to buy some Malox.

The best thing I ever tried was 1/4 teaspoon ginger in small glass of water, drink up and should help.

a spoon full of baking soda mixed with a little water should help...it's not the best tasting thing in the workd...but it is a base and will help with acid reflux.
