What can they do to change the minds of a growing number of Americans who are against them? What kind of gratitude can we expect from the Illegals and their supporters for letting them in for all these years? Do you think they owe America anything?

Yes they owe a lot of taxes, they owe a lot of rent because they live six and eight families to a house, they owe a lot of fines for driving without license or insurance for all these years, they owe a lot of apologies for ruining the economy by taking so many jobs away from Americans and lowering the wage structure, they owe a lot of money to the people who really deserve food assistance through the food stamp program, They owe us the common courtesy of learning English instead of demanding that we learn another language in our OWN country. More to come !!

You can not change the mind of the ignorant, their minds are already made up. They will always be stubborn. The illegals that I know are grateful. As far as owing us anything, I think that if they would use the english language and get a tax ID so they can help contribute their share of taxes.

What can the illegals do?

First, they can apologize for raping the system.
Second, they can pay back the American government for all of the social services they've leached illegally.
Third, they can inject the same amount of money into the US economy as the amount of money they took out by exporting it to Mexico.
Fourth, they can get the hell out of our country.

The supporters can take a few classes on macroeconomics, and thank God that saner minds persuaded them to see reason. They will be able to enjoy having an education system and a medical system that might actually be able to functionally as originally intended.

Do you even realize how insensilble that question is? An American supporting broken laws in a country that you live in and should take pride in. "They"? I don't think all, but those who worked for pay "under the table" owe some taxes. Maybe even an apology for having no respect for coming into a counntry that they just "HAD" to be in.

They can tell the illegals to start by becoming lawful. Return to their native country and apply for citizenship. Go through the steps required, ie. medical screening, criminal check..

I think that all who want to be in America permanently should be required to take a loyalty oath....and if they break the law, deportment is the first option. Prison, the second.

We don't have to do anything to change your mind as long as our politicians support us. Just ask Karl Rove, John Macain, George Bush, Micheal Bloomberg, Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Barbra Boxer, Diane Feinstein and so many others how they stand on this issue and you'll see what I'm talking about.

You can't change my mind. They need to get in line with the rest of the people trying to gain citizenship into this country.

They owe America taxes for the wages that they earned and then they need to go home and get in line with everyone else.

I don't know ? but i can tell you whats not helping their cause and what they need to stop doing (1) Stop waving the Mexican flag around like the were in Mexico City.(2) stop spewing out unjust racist claims. (3) attempt to do the things that make you a US citizen threw the naturalization process (learn English ,know basic US history, etc.).

You can start by taking them back to Mexico to start over LEGALLY!

Then you can teach them not to break our laws when the come back. Get'em in line, there are many who want to come here LEGALLY who are a head of your little friends.
