What do you need? Have you tried informin that person upfront what you want/need? If not, maybe you should try to inform your dates upfront on what you are lookin for. No one can read your mind. Nothing is wrong with any one being without a relationship...sometimes I believe it is more comforting. You don't have to worry about several things that goes with a relationship. But wouldn't you like to have someone to love and for someone to love you back the same? Someone who talks to you, love you, take you out, respect you, maybe one day marry you b/c he loves you so much, and lastly having passionate sex with? I can understand if you have had a awkward or crazy relationship then that will make you look at the entire issue differently but can you really tell me that you no longer want to be in a relationship? Give it another chance and if that doesn't work out..oh well!!! Call it quits!!!! Good Luck!! Don't throw in the towel yet Please!!!!

No relationship is going to give you all you need. You will settle down or you will not that is to say their is always a perceived better choose. But there is something to be said about continuing a relationship vs just mate hopping.

If a person is in a relationship where they're unhappy, and have tried to address this matter with their partner without satisfactory result, then it is better for both people to end that relationship.

I agree. Every good relationship has some rough spots, but too many people stay stuck in relationships that are just a drain because- who knows why? It's sad. It seems to me you have to love yourself first, and insist on not settling for less than what you deserve.

An excellent point. We all have needs...emotional, physical, financial, whatever. If those needs aren't being met, then we naturally find another way to GET them met. Living without what you need feels empty and certainly not satisfying.
So if it isn't possible in your current situation and you've exhausted all attempts, yeah you'd have to strongly consider it.

a relationship is a two way thing between two persons based on trust for each other, respect for each other, and patience. last important thing that covers all this is love for each other.
It should not always be what yu personally need but what can I do to improve this relationship to get what I need.

that's a very broad question and without more detail, any yes or no answer would be appropriate. You could "need" safety from domstic abuse, or you could "need" money to buy more shirts at abercrombie... each of those questions having a drastically different answers

Exactly. You should find it in yourself. A relationship should simply compliment things in your life. It shouldn't BE your life. Couples that are together for a LONG time say that they are best friends more than anything else.
