If you really think that you are finished and don't want any more kids than I suggest getting your tubes tied. Though your boyfriend may eventually want to have a child of his own one day, that may present a problem. I would say that as long as you've talked it over with him and he seems okay with it, than do it. I am 27 and I have a 3 year old daughter and twins on the way and you better believe my tubes are getting tied immediately following the birth. This body is DONE having babies.

There is no definitive age. I am an only child and my mother had her tubes tied just days after having me at the age of 23. She was able to convince the doctor that she because she came from a large family (13 siblings) that she was unwilling under any circumstances to conceive again. I also have a former roommate who had the procedure after her 3rd child and she was also under 30. Your personal story is what’s most important. But most doctors will allow a tubal ligation after two children. And if all else fails, keep going to different doctors if you are convinced this is what you want.
On the flip side, you may want to consider a less permanent form a birth control because this is a very expensive procedure, over $10,000 and does not always work. It also can cause hormonal changes and has a somewhat painful recovery. If your partner gets a vasectomy, it is completely reversible, an outpatient procedure, and inexpensive on both ends.

in case you ever took precalculus or another math class which covers houses of purposes, you the accurate thanks to verify the area of the function. between the crimson flags to seem out for is once you divide by using 0. on your expression, even as x = 3, the denominator is 0. subsequently, the area is each variety beside 3. regrettably, the variety you try to plug in (x = 3) is the only variety that would not artwork in this function. to be certain this popular hand, you0 can graph this function on a TI-eighty 3. in case you zoom in on the point of the graph at x = 3, you'll stumble on there's a sparkling spot there! it is because, as said above, there only isn't a cost of the expression at x = 3. you ought to say, nicely it seems that like the answer must be 6, searching on the graph. this theory of what the answer "must be" is what limits are all about. The values of the function on the left and accurate of x = 3 all bypass in the direction of 6 as you seize up with and closer. So we are saying the reduce as x is going to three is 6. So besides the actuality that it isn't technically the answer, 6 is your acceptable determination. 0 will no longer be superb in any experience. the very acceptable answer is to say that the expression is undefined at x = 3. This challenge illustrates why 0/0 is termed indeterminate. in this challenge, 0/0 in a way equals 6. the theory that 0/0 can equivalent some thing is unquestionably the essence of calculus.

Usually, after you had a couple of children, it is okay to have the procedure. However, Since you are still young and wrote "unsure" if you wanted to do it. Why don't you try the birthcontrol that last about 5 years (Deprovera) I believe. At least you have that security and if you have change your mind, you have that option. Also, some tubes do become untied. Your boyfriend is only 20, therefore he may only think of himself now. When he starts to get older and wondering about those "what if" questions, then he may still want a child of his own to continue his gene pool. You may win the lottery or something, who knows.

I have had two c-sections and both times they asked if I wanted my tubes tied. I was 18 with the first. I think you just need to check with the doctors. But the shot work great and you only have to get it once every three months and then if you change your mind later you can still have kids.

There isn't a certain age as long as you are over 18, but I think you might want to wait and consider his feelings. If he has never had any kids of his own, he may wnat to alter on down the line, and you can't reverse getting your tubes tied.

No, my friend got her tubes tied after her second child at the age of 21. The doctors were all trying to talk her out of it because she was so young but she was done having kids and it was her decision. She had it done right after her daughter was born. This is your decision and not his.

My neighbor tried to get hers done after her 2nd child when she was barely 20 - the Dr refused to do it because she was too young. She's now 21 and about to have #3 and will be getting them tied as soon as the baby is born. Our husbands are in the army and the army medical system refuses to tie your tubes if you're under 21.

I think you will be classed as too young for a few reasons- you only have two children in the event of an accident you may regret the decision later, you don't state any other reason but personal convienience (sorry this is under their rules, not my opinion) no health risk involved, and again you are already unsure!!!!With that against you it's unlikely on the NHS. but anything can be done private.x

Depending on your State. Contact your local Health Department. I believe you have to be at least 21 or 3 children if you are 18 years of age.
