I just bought a D50. I love it because it can use the lenses from my N80 35mm and it uses SD memory that I already had. 2.5 frames per second is great for taking pictures of the kids.

A friend has it and he's extremely happy with it. But if you an experienced photographer, the one annoying missing feature is the lack of a "depth of field preview" button. That alone would make me not buy it, but, I'm a photo geek... most people wouldnt care. He wishes he had that capability but didnt want to pay the extra $ for the D70.

Hi giggles, it's me again. I trust you checked up on those 2 websites I provided earlier regarding specifications and in-depth reviews. Those sites are 100% legit, and they couldn't be more positive about the D50.

Best regards!
