¼ cup paprika

Why would you have to ask this question so late? Now I am craving ribs!

This is my favorite homemade rub made especially for pork ribs.

2 T Paprika
2 T Pure chili powder w/o salt
1 T Ground ginger
4 T lemon pepper
2 T White sugar - I like fine, but granulated will work
4 T Brown sugar
2 T Salt
1 T Cayenne pepper
1 T Ground pepper (fresh)

Put all in a bowl and then pour through a sifter. Push through larger pieces. Do this a few times to thoroughly mix. Rub into prepared ribs to taste. And for heavens sake, so not touch your face until you wash your hands!

The most delicious rub I have ever tried is Penzey's Jamaican Jerk rub for pork and chicken! It is definitely worth the money--spicy and you add as much salt as you want! Try www.penzeys.com
