It's your business if people think or say something false about you. Suppose you applied for a high-security job and the employer asked your neighbors to describe your character. What if you never made eye contact with your neighbors because you just keep to yourself, but your neighbors didn't see it that way and consequently said that you're shifty, or that you're the sneaky type? It's good to know what people think so you can be aware of potential conflicts like that.

It depends on what your preception of it is. It is certainly your business to know but it is up to you whether you care. A lot of people are very concerned about what other people think about them and its not nescesarily a bad thing. If trying to do little things to appease other people makes your life even just a little bit easier then why not. Ultimately it shouldnt matter what others think as long as you and loved ones are happy.

no but they better not make it known or I will have to bust a cap in their good leg! Just joshing. I think that though sometimes ppl think great things about me I would be flattered to know. But maybe a person would say something offensive then you would be beating yourself up about why they think that about you. Would you really put yourself in a position to look like a piss ant and ask!? Shyte let them waste their time on me and talk shyte cuz I am too kewl 4 skool!!

For the most part, no. It is more important what you think of yourself, although I think we should also take into consideration others' opinions. However, if you are a representation of a particular company or institution and they feel you are not engaging in proper behavior, attitude or looks, they can ask you to change.

It is your right to ask, and it is their right to not tell you if they are uncomfortable to do so for whatver reason. I like to hope people have good thoughts about me, I don' t want to offend people. But if people are having bad thoughts I will either work on a resolution or if that's not possible I will just ignore them because there is nothing else to be done about that. Those types might never "like" me and that is fine with me.

It is and it isn't. Invasion of privacy, slander, conspiracy comes to mind. But, other than a friend, and those are hard to come by, I really don't care. If I'm the center of your attention, and I'm pretty low profile, unremarkable, you must not have much of a life, huh?

Maybe what they think can affect my welfare, something like not being promoted for a job because they don't think the right things about me, which makes it my business.

My intuition tells me how they think of me so they are entitled their opinion without my approval . I'm not bothered by that at all . I treat others as I wish to be treated and mostly it works for me and occasionally personalities do clash but rarely in my case fortunately for me.

It is our business to live our lives in a respectable way..then we do NOT have to fret what others think. They are giving somebody else a break if they are thinking about you...just go about your life...don't stress yourself...it ages you too fast.
