I believe the events in Revelations (written by John) are a map of what is to happen. I feel that the end is close by, maybe 1 to 3 generations away, if that. No one kinows the date or time. But our earth is on countdown. Some mock the idea but in the end, everyone will know. I pray that God takes mercy on mankind.

For those who do not believe, research for yourself, you’re only a click away. You mock something you obviously know nothing about. Ignorance is bliss. The bible has predicted many events in the past few decades that have happened. These events were once thought to never be possible. Like the fact that the Bible predicted thousands of years ago that in the end days, you would be able to access any information from any place on earth. That proof is setting right in front of you. How could people in those days perceive computers and the internet? This is real folks, but you have to find the answer yourself.

When I speak of the end, I am referring to the end of evil's rule and the return of Jesus Christ. This will bring a new beginning.

No one will know the date or time but Jesus left us clue to when it will close, even at the doors. If we read Matthew 24 and the Book of Revelation we see all the predictions mounting up to this event of Jesus second coming. The stage is being set and even with the increase in natural disasters and wickedness of man, wars, etc. we are faced with the reality of the end is near. However, the Bible speaks that there will be scoffers just like the days of Noah. Let us hold fast and keep our faith sure in Jesus our soon coming King.

Here is what the bible says. Prepare your hearts today. Walk into the local pentacostal or assemblies of God church.

Luk 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
Luk 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Luk 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Luk 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luk 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Probably. But I don't pretend to be able to read the map in Revelations. Some believe that parts of it refer to Ancient Rome.

But Whatever the road map we know that there Will be a last Trumpet and Jesus will come like lightening across the sky on the terrible day the Lord.

I'm hoping for a pre-trib rapture!

It has often been thought that the "end times" are now, throughout history.
Since I renounced jesus christ, I am not as concerned.
If it happens, it happens.
I have made an effort to develope a sense of apathy towards Judao Christian thought.
I think Ive done a good job.
I worry about emotionally unstable loose cannons that believe as you do, that are in positions of power.
Can you say Dubya?

Its the only time in history that it could happen, Israel didn't become a nation again until 1948, and the trib is suppose to happen during the generation of Israel becoming a nation. A biblical generation is 70 years, so that gives us between now and 2018 for the trib to start.

Armageddon won't happen for awhile. The end of the earth isn't what is meant by the 'end times'. Jesus coming again is what is going to happen soon. There is a difference. Take care.

i do, revelations marks the end of the world. in revelations it says the world would would end following the holy war involving jesus' homeland (israel). look at the conflict in the mideast now! its gonna erupt into ww3. there is a passage in revelations which describes the war which stated that there would be thunder, lightining, flooding, then a giant earthquake somewhere around the war. the hurricanes caused thunder lighting and flooding. the tsunami cause earthquake and flooding. the floods in north korea also. in addition we have probably 4 conflicts going simuteanously. also theirs this show called montel where theres a psychic named sylvia brown, she said the world has less than 25 yrs left.

Allow me to give you a clue... everyone who has had an appocolyptic prophecy has believed it would take place in their lifetime... Jesus himself was certain he was living in the end times.

Scholors who have studied revelations disagree that it is about the end of the world... many see it as a prophecy of the fall of the roman empire.

I don't take stock in the predictions. No one knows. I don't think it's soon, but that's only my opinion. People can read into things that are happening and make them fit into the biblical prophecies. People have been doing it for years and years and years. So far they have all been wrong.

If you look deeper into history, you'll find those events have been on the verge of happening for almost 2 millenia. They're too generic and abstract to have any real meaning.
