not a racialist question, with rising tempratures throughout europe, and it is predicted that it will be the norm, in coming years, because of fuel emissions from earth, will that mean europeans who were considered white will end up dark skinned in future years, and if so will that soften racialism.

It would probably take thousands of years for all white-skinned people to become dark-skinned, so the effects of global warming aren't going to have an effect any time soon on the overall appearance of the human race.

I just checked the dictionary to see if, as I thought, racialist is in there and it means much the same as racist. So those people criticising the use of the word racialist are ignorant f*ckwits.

I dont really think that europeans are white...they are more tanned (italians, portuguese etc)...but those who live in england i would consider white

Maybe in the year 287687645 we will lose all sight of race, as everyone achieves a neautral skin colour due to climate changes - but then again...who cares about skin colour: we might be black or white from the outside but we're all pink inside!!

Racism is an issue that will always be present: if in future years we all become the same colour, people will find other racial comments, for instance people will be discriminated because of their eye colour!!

You were just asking a question yes? Well good on you. How do we all learn?Guess what by asking questions, even if they appear at times somewhat moronic. People who scorn others for asking what those smart arses class as STUPID should stop and think about the stupid questions they have asked in their lifetime. Perhaps my friend you should try and think about the structure of your question before hand, thus avoiding some of the very rude replies that have been posted by those who think that they are educated.

By the way I think somewhere it is written that in time to come all the peoples of the world will be the pale lest of brown in colour.

Have a good life and keep asking stupid questions that is how we all learn do not let other people intimidate you and never feel unworthy.

here's the problem, with all the advanced technology and science, it's possible for a person that's considered white to stay that way even with intensified sunlight. sunscreen has really helped the pasty people stay pasty, and surgery has helped with the removing of skin cancers that would normally kill people.the process of natural selection has already been thrown way off by humans with all these advances that people with "bad genes" end up reproducing anyways. i honestly don't think that the skin color of people will change as soon as you seem to predict. it will take hundreds of years for a society's skin pigment to evolve

racism on the other hand, probably won't change. because peopel will still be lighter or darker than others. though it might soften it like you suggest.

No. An individuals exposure to sunlight doesn't translate to how much pigmentation they pass off to their children through genetics. However, with interracial marriage gaining more acceptance worldwide, and the current ease of intercontinental travel, it's likely to occur simply becase darker skin is a dominant gene. Whether that eventually softens racism, I don't think so. People like to seclude themselves as groups, so even if everybody were the same color, they would simply find other things to differentiate themselves from other people (dialects, eye color, height, weight, hairstyle, etc.,).

Hang on a minute - having a sun tan does not change your race. White people may end up darker in colour if they are prone to go suntanned, but that will not change people's genetics. If more Africans etc. live in England because of difficult circumstances and then marry and have babies with white people, we will end up pretty mixed in race. I hope it will soften racism, that is a nice thought.

You mean racist? Are you a TOTAL idiot or just some-kind-of Idiot?
For one thing your sentence structure sucks. I had a horrible time trying to figure out what the **** you were saying.

No we aren't all going to turn black because of emissions, moron. This has nothing to do with pollution.

Honestly, I don't think there will ever be a unified color. We are too segregated.

With your theory, we're more likely to die of cancer. >.<

No, they will just see an increase in melanoma.

Skin color will eventually darken, but primarily because dark skin tone is a dominate trait and as the social racial divide is getting much smaller intermarriage will eventually turn us all brown.

Europeans grdually gaining darker complexions due to rising exposure to UV rays will probably a long long long long time. Like thousands of years of evolution

that appears to be a question ask by a person that cannot or will not think for them selves. interracial relationships ,only, shall soften racial tensions. but since some people will never, in their mind commit such atrocities, intermarry so it remains a dream of dreamers
