i think more important that she does not smell bad. using too much perfume can gag a person too. subtleness is a virtue with scent.

When a woman smells good it is always a plus, but I don't think it is the determining factor. Maybe I met her right after she was jogging or something. As long as she is a sweetheart with a great personality and a great smile!

The scent of a woman is real important. Scent is an underrated sense of relationships but you yourself probably have thought of someone when you were in a public place and noticed a smell, after shave perfume ect, or had a memory sparked by a scent

She doesn't have to "smell good" as long as she doesn't smell bad. Initial attraction is based on the 5 senses so i guess to get our attention smelling good would be a plus. But in the end, it's personality that keeps us attracted.

Definitely. Odor is an important factor in attraction. I bet you wouldnt date a guy who smells bad. So a girl's odor is important or even more important because girls tend to have a stronger odor. It appeals to men when women dress well and smell great.

Most certainly - I'd really be turned off if she smelled of cigarettes and beer - or if her hygiene was really bad and smelled like the outside of a seafood restaurant on Monday morning. I like a nice sweet smelling lady - but not too much perfume - some of the ladies in the town where I work take a freakin' bath in cheap perfume and that is totally sickening.

Of course it is... Very important - but you already knew this from a previous question! Anyhow. I guess that it wouldn't necessarily make me decide whether or not to enter into a relationship with that person, but at the same time, if she has a foul odor, I would know that I would NOT be attracted to her. It does definitely enter into an attraction for a person - especially upon a first meeting.

Mmmm, definately! Scent is the strongest trigger for memories, the better a woman smells, the better the memory of them.
But women please understand...do NOT take a bath in perfume..nothing drives guys away faster than smelling your approach miles away, same to the guys with cologne.
