I already failed my written three times, and I didn't even pass my last behind the wheel one. I failed big time! I want to re-take the written test but now they have changed the allowed mistakes from 15 to 6 and the questions are sp tricky sometimes! What's the best way to study the handbook so that all the answers will be on the top of your head? And how can I stay confident when I am taking the behind the wheel one when the time is right again?

Actually practice. There's certain things you know they're going to have you do behind the wheel. Find a parking lot with your parent/guardian or over 18 friend w/a license...
If not, enroll in Drivers Ed. It's a pretty easy course, and gives you step by step, what you need to know to be a good and safe driver.

As far as the written, don't stress... it's easy if you just study. Don't try to cram it... repeat the answers, make flash-cards of signs or distance or whatever you're having a problem with.

Remember the one with the car above the swirvy lines means "Caution, drunk drivers ahead." LOL, that was actually on my written! Anyway, good luck!

Think of it this way- look at all the idiots on the road. If they can pass the test, so can you. Just don't be as bad as them! Use your turn signals and absolutely no cell phones while driving! If you take those 2 points seriously, you'll be better than half the drivers out there. :)

i don't know what the law is in your state but here (Ohio) if have to wait a period of time before you can take the test again. Anyway you should use that time to practice, have someone that has passed help you with the questions, and you will also need to drive, practice in a parking lot until you are comfortable behind the wheel. The only way you are going to pass is when you gain confidence so practice practice practice!

and just read what someone else said, DO NOT play music at all, they take point off for that to, stay calm, drive slow!

Study hard, read over the parts that you got wrong, and then have someone read you the question from your book, and you give the answers.

As for the driving part, don't speed, keep legs where they should be, don't be cocky, listen to whoever is in the car with you. Don;t go through red lights, keep the music low. Also it might be good to drive with your parents, and do sort of a pre-test with them.
