There is a difference between love and lust.

If you lust after a girl and she says no, then most
guys would most likely move on to the next available
girl to get their fix so to speak.

If a guy cares for a girl, i think he would be more inclined
to respect her wishes and remain close to her. It may be
that she's saving herself for the right guy. If he were to
hang around and earn her trust, who knows, he then
will suddenly become that guy eventually.

The short answer is: If you love her, don't cut and run.
Love is more then strictly physical in nature.

Unfortunately, this comes down to "Do you care enough for
me to not have sex for some unknown period of time at which
point we might still be together and get married, but then again
I might leave you so is it worth the risk sweetie?"

I think if the guy in question is sexually active, he probably
won't want to - or least, will get tired of it after awhile.

Under these circumstances, you will probably end up with
someone who feels as you do and actively wants to wait.
Is that such a bad thing?

In any case, all power to you!

That would be a dream come true for me! If he wants to have sex and you don't there are two things to consider.
1) His view of the matter. He obviously has not learned to respect women for who they are and not what they are. Guys like this are a dime a dozen. They look at women as sex objects.
2) If he presses the issue and you are uncomfortable, dump him. If he can't respect your views then he will more than likely look elsewhere for what he wants. He may or may not break up with you first---so---do you really need that kind of hassle?
Have a great day!

I will be very honest with her . I will tell her that I want it but i can promise to wait but I will make tell her that there may be times when I may be weakens by my desire . From a relationship point of view , if u remain with some one for some time , the intimate connection will take her directly to level of relationship , cause in the end women are emotional , even if they don't want to , a since show of love and affection can melt their hearts and their rules away , so I would not bother changing her mind. It will come on its time .

if you really care for a person and want to be a part of that person for a long time then you have to respect that persons choices and wait . my wife and i waited 3 years !!
now we have been married for 10 years. you need to do what is right for you and only you . love is so much more than sex, and with the right person it is awesome.
good luck and watch out for # 1.
because #1 is you.

I would (and am currently) respect her wishes.

Sex can wait.... and all that crap.

It's a tough choice to be a virgin in a world where sex is passed out like Jolly Ranchers at a Dane Cook show... but, I've seen sex ruin so many good relationships... so I (and my girlfriend of nearly 3 years) are waiting.

If you genuinely care for someone, sex becomes a secondary concern. I'd say ok and move forward. If a man can't respect that, he doesn't really care about the woman.

I would tell her that i don't care how long wait because i wouldn't want to lose u and if have to wait i'll wait forever because i know we both love each other and i wouldn't want to spend my life with anyone else so if i have to wait for sex i'll wait until she's ready
