What costs and port fees should I be aware of for a Discovery day cruise to the Bahamas from Ft. Lauderdale? I've already paid for a cabin and Ft. Lauderdale fees, but what other costs should I expect? How much are drinks on the Discovery? Freeport port fees? Anmy suggestions on additional costs I may need cash for?

Read the boarding pass guide you get. It has most everything you should need to know. As for drinks, water is always free on those, and you can get a card for like 30 bucks that gets you as many drinks you want. As for additional costs, you'll need some cash for various activities when you reach port.

Please read all your documents that you receive for any additional fees, plus your shore trips and drinks.
Also, dont think of this as a "cruise" this is a ferry style boat.
a cruise already has those port fees included and are a great deal larger than the discovery sailings.
