So i downloaded it, from the adobe download site (for windows) and an icon called install_flash_player appeared on my desktop. I double-clicked on it, and a window appeared asking me what language i'd like to use for the instalation. I chose English and pressed OK. Then the blue bar that appears when you're downloading something went by really fast, and the window disapeared. It's not installed, and I've tried it over and over again!!

df747jet, that's where i downloaded it from, and it goes right to my desktop. But that's what the downloading instructions say it should do.

you may need to run the uninstaller first to get the install to work. Depends on how many browsers you have installed. The more browsers the more installs you have to perform from each one. YOU cannot download the net installer from one browser to install for another. You must get the an installer for all your browsers. I have 3 browsers installed on my computer. I could not get Flash or Shockwave to work on any of the 3. I ended up having to uninstall 3 times and then I downloaded the installer version for each browser to get them all to work.

That means Flash Player 9 is already installed. Go to YouTube and try right-clicking on the video and look if Flash Player 9 is there.

you should not be downloading it to your desktop, it should download and install automatically. Try here:http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&promoid=BIOW
