If she's old enough to be curious about these things, she's old enough to understand that there's a proper name for every part of her body, including that one...so tell her to call it what it is: her vagina. Of course, all the other "parts" there have names, too, but save that for later, unless she asks.

If she's itty bitty, call it her "down there"
If she's older (like 7-10), call it her private parts.

how old is she? if she is way little call it her "butterfly" if she is 7-10 call it her "private parts". any older and she should call it her vagina.

My 7 year old sister has called it her birdie. My mom told her to call it that she has called it that ever since she was able to talk. Tell your sister to call it her birdie
