Cool question!
First, I hope you mean "destroy" as in talking sense into the folks that have it so they give up their superstitious ways. And obviously the result would NOT be replacing it with yet another religion. (What would be the point?)

When put like that the question becomes sort of, "What religious group would you like to turn into pro-science, pro-progress, and generally secular people."

I would pick the Christians. And that's because they would be the best cadre for a general secularization of civilization as a whole. There are more of them in the sciences, academia, and powerful political positions.

I would destroy Wiccan. It's not that there's anything inherantly wrong with Wicca or Wiccans, but the fact that the great majority of Wiccans are teeny-bopper fluff bunnies that don't have a freaking clue about their own religion and don't even know that Wicca was invented fifty years ago as an attempt to cash in on England's occultism fad of the time. really drives me up a wall.

Well that question will be answered soon enough when Jehovah God destroys the wicked world of mankind along with babylon the great the world empire of false religion. Then the true religion will stand and all will know that God whose name is Jehovah is the true God over all the inhabited earth.

If I had the power to destroy a religion, I would not choose any particular one. Instead, I would hold that power as a threat over religions so that they stop trying to brain-wash innocent people's minds with their idiocracy. Just knowing that I had the power to do it would be enough for me.

Why would you destroy a religion? How about you grow some common sense and stop getting offended because people don't see the world as you do.

Trying to destroy a religion only strengthens it. Only time can destroy a religion. If it is false, then its own inconsistencies will spell its destruction.

What a horrible question. I think we'd be better off without any of them.
And Islam is not a violent religion. Every religion has fanatics. Christianity has plenty of them. (See: Crusades, Spanish Inquisition, Jim Jones, Timothy McVeigh, etc. etc. etc.)

To bad you're so specific on this because I would love for ALL religious belief systems to be gone...unfortunately you're being specific. My answer is going to offend many in here but I'd have to get rid of ALL Christian Sects...they're based upon completely false premises and should cease to exist. PEACE!

I think I will not destroy any religion, coz' religion is like a personal character/identity to a person, and sometimes it is one factor that influence one's life that would amke him unique and what would make him think in a very different manner....
