If the old testament no longer applies, are atheists no longer fools?

Psalms 14: 1
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

We are still fools in the eyes of Christians. They will always see atheists as foolish not to believe in God, since God is supposedly evident everywhere.

I don't understand, where do you get the misconception that the old testament doesn't apply. A Christian believes Gods word entirely, not just bits and pieces. I don't know if you are an atheist or not but even if you are I don't think you are a fool. I believe in God and I pray that you find him too, but I understand that your beliefs are yours to have. I wish you the best

Of course it still applies. Psalms 14:1 has nothing to do with the covenant between God and Man. A fool is still a fool!

The Old Testament still applies in some aspects. Only those that are mentioned in the New Testament as being passed away aren't applicable. I am not one for name-calling.

If each man or woman is too positive, only communicate about how nasty the Bible is. If each man or woman is too nasty, ask them what may Jesus do? i wager self-contradiction can surely be a very positive device for pulling the wool over individuals's eyes. "Their Bible says in Proverbs reprimanding a fool is ineffective" OH WOW IT might want to be genuine THEN!!!a million HOW ought to all of us yet GOD comprehend THAT??

Does that mean that everyone who lived before Christianity and God was invented or before the Psalm was written went to hell?

I do not judge others. I can only report what the Bible says. God says a fool will reject His word. Jesus did not say that way exactly, but He did make reference to passages of scripture wherein those who reject God are fools.
