He is referring to Jesus. Jesus was the first thing Jehovah God created. Please read Colossians 1:13-20, verse 15 talks about Jesus.
With Jesus Jehovah God created everything else!

I'm not sure how to answer this, but God never claimed to be the only god. There are several times in the Bible where God explicitly acknowledges the existence of other gods, and then goes on to claim to be the "God of Israel". Perhaps the He and the other gods (who may also have looked like Him) came to some sort of arragement and the God we know assumed dominion over mankind. I'm not trying to be flippant, just interpreting the Bible here.

God supposedly created man in his image. Some Christian religions deny the anthropomorphic concept of God and regard him as a nature controlling force. I learned that from a Methodist minister in a Methodist college.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit....Body, mind, spirit. God was talking to Son---remember----he said let US make man in OUR image. John writes, In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word WAS GOD! (Christians know that Christ is the Word that John was giving testimony of at the time.

No, it is the triune God. God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. All were present at the creation.

Refers to the Holy Trinity, but it can also be considered in the royal sense, as in when a king or queen refers to him/herself as "we."
