Tom and his co-worker were sent out by the boss to use moisture absorbent on the nasty little spill in the ditch. The guys were doing their job - the pay isn't good but it's a job.

Only one way to find out...you have to check it out. Either you can go with a friend and see what was in the trash, or call the police and have them check it out. It could be nothing, but if it's a body or something illegal, it may be worth the effort in finding out.

You should dive in the ditch of water and fetch the bag, this may help answer all these questions your having.
ps make sure you poke with the bag with a stick before opening it...
