why do they sterilyze needles for lethal injections? and why is pot illegal and beer not. only one of the two?

Because of habit... And in case the person surivives the injection, you won't want them getting an infection, do you (that was joking... It would be hard for them not to die)...

The reason why is that America has a long standing Alchol business while Pot really has not had a comercial business to talk of... If in the 1700's they grew plantations of weed allong with tobaco, I have a feeling that pot would not be illegal...

Though, if I remember right, it was legal till the early 1900's.. right after alchol was illegalized.. but I could be wrong...
