Absolutely. Get a job....two jobs...three jobs if necessary. First and foremost - provide for your family.

Secondly, join a local church and become a member of your faith.

Third, Volunteer your time anywhere - ASPCA's, Hospitals, donate money and time to relief agencies, etc.

Your criminal record does NOT matter. You CAN make a BIG difference.

One thing you are already doing is simply asking this question rather than be a repeat offender. Other than that it depends on what you know how to do, your age, etc. Pretty much any job out there has an equivalent working for a private contractor for the government overseas. The money is good and a felony does not exclude you from employment as long as you tell them up front. And once you get the first job you are in the clear from there. Like I said, more info is needed to answer this properly.

Start volunteering (church, non-profit orgs, etc.). Every little bit helps and we need the effort here just as much as anywhere else.
