Yes, I have. Like most religions, it has good and bad parts. Like most religions, it tends to demonize those that disagree with the assumptions. The Shia/Sunni split seems a bit silly; all that over who should be caliph??? The degree to which tradition (the hadiths, and even the Koran) have dominated the religion seems very unhealthy to me. Once the gates of ijtihad were closed, Islamic science went downhill quickly. Perhaps they should be re-opened?

It is good to know that some of you have some knowledge about Islam. It is sad to see the people who spread hatred against Islam have no knowledge at all about Islam.

Princess what are the issue you don't agree with your husband? Is he a Sunni or Shia?

We can have discussion on my blog where you disagree because I am Muslim who do not belong to any sect. The sectarian Islam has adopted too many wrong practices as the mandatory part of their belief due to fabricated false hadiths.

Yes. Although I rarely will comment about specifics. Due to being unsure about a great deal. However I understand more of the gist and the Story / history of the Koran than the specific regulations and laws

i have studied Islam many times and i have islamic friends. i like to study Islam as it quite a fascinating subject. i like to comment where i can.

Yes, my close friend is Muslim and she let me read her Koran. I found the Muslim religion has many good rules for living a good life. I just find it incredible that no matter what religion you will find crazy wackos who screw up the meaning.

yes, iam a born catholic, and resently i have been studying the muslim relgion, due to my husband to be is muslim.. and to be honest with you i don't agree with it.
