some people do think that and i don't know why. it's not true, you know yourself the best.
some people that care about you and might be a little over protective will tell you that. especially if they don't have complete confidence in your decisions.
prove to them you that you know yourself best.

Because it's hard to give yourself constructive criticism sometimes even when you know you need it.
Sometimes you put blinders up about yourself to yourself because it's too painful to admit there might be a problem too yourself. It's always good to have someone in your life that can give a little insite to yourself......don't take those people for granted. They are usually the people who care about you the most.
Try to listen to advice with an open mind instead of shutting
it out....you're not always right. And once you realize that then you can grow as a person.

Because in some instances it is true.
The reason is because of perception. Some people can see things about you that you can not or do not want to see. This is a wonderful thing when the person is on your side and truly has your best interest at heart. As a matter of fact, people like that are very rare indeed, cherish them.
On the other hand, you will be able to see things about someone else that they will not be able to see. Hopefully you will have the opportunity to be that rare individual for them one day.
For those who are out to criticize you, likely they're simply attempting to take any focus off of themselves. It's easy for us to do this when we have our own insecurities we're attempting to avoid.

The "key" word here for me is "Think". They who ever they are rather get involved in our lives than their own.For several reasons. They are in denial of what is happening in their own life.
I think it is an escape for them. Some people don't try to experience new things in their lives so they get lonely, bored, caught up in gossip with others. Then it becomes a way of life to them. So there seems to be two lists of different people that have different reasons for "thinking" they know more about others.

Because sometimes it's a situation of "not seeing the forest for the trees." It's difficult to step outside ourselves for a clear picture of a situation. Sometimes, others definitely know more about us for that reason.

If those people are your parents, and if your parents have been reasonably attentive throughout your childhood, then there's a pretty good chance that they DO know more about you and what you know about yourself.
Everyone else? F 'em.
