just so we all know we werent going out, my friend and her were and they broke up. the girl and i kept in touch cause we went to the same school. i said something in my friends defense and she went off!

I have, and it devistated me. I was madly in love with her and she cheated on me. I found out by accident and asked her if it were true. Instead of recognizing she had betrayed me and asking for forgiveness, she chose to turn it around on me in attempt to pass blame. She became enraged immediately and said that snooping around to find information was psychotic and strange behavior that she wanted nothing to do with. She said she never wanted to speak to me again, and she never did. It absolutely devistated me, but I recognized she did it to avoid her own guilt of doing wrong. Funny how it didn't make it hurt any less knowing why she did it. Perhaps your significant other is using the same tatic to avoid her own guilt. I don't know your situation, so I have no way of understanding what her reasons are.

I had a girl tell me "Youre DEAD to ME!!" She got over it, I got over it, and were friends to this day. People always say stuff they dont mean. Dont take it personal. Give her some time and she'll come around. Dont worry.
