I usually do the answering for these questions you seek to answer...
I believe all paths to be valid ways to experience divine. We don't hate anyone, with the exception to those who would do wicked deeds, and even the word hate is too strong. We would advise them, or let them learn the hard way. The evils you sow come back to you times three. And we know this. Real Wiccans stay out of the way of those who would not follow the Rede, for they have their own lessons to learn, and I wish not to be tied up with anyone else's bad karma.
Definitely not ignorant people, we are very well informed, if we've studied for any length of time.
Evil? Fundamentalists will shout this at the top of their lungs, because we have taken our personal power back and refuse to let some Father or Pastor have power over us.
The only power over us is the power of God,dess....who knows what is right, what is destined, and what is good for us. Just as any good mother will tell her child no sometimes, because it's not what is best for them.
I do, however, think there are a lot of misinformed witches and pagans who think they are Wiccan.
"Do what ye will, IF IT HARM NONE." and that includes yourself.
Brightest Blessings, sister of the craft!

p.s.., to the last poster before me, have you read the Wiccan Rede? Evil is renounced. You cast the circle times 3 to keep evil spirits out. (Demons.)

Again, to you posters that say our roots are evil...Gardner is being confused with Aleister Crowley. He truly did not follow the Rede, and he made his own, stating "Do what ye will." period. Gardner, on the other hand, had no ties to Crowley. GET EDUCATED. Most importantly, get educated on how evil a man Aleister Crowley was. A REAL Wiccan knows that Satanists twisted our rituals, created their own deities, and use DEMONS, not deities. They got their ideology from Crowley. Demons are earthbound spirits. And I don't believe in satan, thankyou very much. I came to Wicca because it makes the most sense to me. God,dess works with me, through me, and inside me. And I get my rewards times three, regardless if I seek those rewards or not. It is not about being "different, or cool, or alternative," it's about being true to thyself. Love for all you who do not understand the Old Ways. Here is the long version of The Rede.

1. Bide the Wiccan laws ye must
In perfect love and perfect trust.
2. Live and let live -
Fairly take and fairly give.
3 . Cast the Circle thrice about
To keep all evil spirits out.
4 . To bind the spell every time,
Let the spell be spake in rhyme.
5 . Soft of eye and light of touch -
Speak little, listen much.
6 . Deosil go by the waxing Moon -
Sing and dance the Wiccan Rune.
7. Widdershins go when the Moon doth wane,
And the werewolf howls by the dread wolfbane.
8 . When the Lady's Moon is new,
Kiss the hand to Her times two.
9. When the Moon rides to Her peak,
Then let your heart's desire seek
10 . Heed the Northwind's mighty gale -
Lock the door and drop the sail.
11. When the Wind comes from the South,
Love will kiss thee on the mouth.
12. When the Wind blows from the East,
Expect the new and set the feast.
13. When the Wind blow o're thee
Departed spirits restless be.
14 . Nine woods in the cauldron go -
Burn them quick and burn them slow.
15 . Elder be ye Lady's tree -
Burn it not, or cursed be.
16 . When the Wheel begins to turn,
Let the Beltane fires burn.
17. When the Wheel has turned a Yule,
Light the log and let Pan rule.
18. Heed ye flowers, bush and tree -
By the Lady, Blessed Be.
19. Where the rippling waters go,
Cast a stone and truth ye'll know.
20 . When it happens ye have need,
Hearken not to other's greed.
21. With the fool, no season spend,
Or be counted as his friend.
22. Merry meet and merry part -
Bright the cheeks and warm the heart.
23. Mind the Three-fold Law ye should,
Three times bad and three times good.
24. When misfortune is enow,
Wear the Blue Star on thy brow.
25. True in love ever be,
Unless thy lover's false to thee.
26. Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill -
An it harm none, do what ye will.

Are you aware of the satanic roots of wicca? I mean that ahole Gardner basically made the whole thing up, but he got buddy buddy with many satanists and basically stole their rituals for wicca. Although wicca is not specifically satanic, its rituals come from satanism.....as in directly copied from satanism. Does this make wicca evil? Satanic? I'm pretty much of the opinion that it does, even though almost all wiccans are ignorant of this.

The point I am making is that most wiccans are freaky, ignorant ******* who want to feel important by being alternative. They want to be cool. Wicca seems a good way to differentiate themselves from the "common fools who don't know better". It also supplies them a ready means to hate others. Most posts by wiccans are of the "those damn christians" variety. Yet, few bother to learn even the basics of where wicca came from. They love to call others "ignorant" when in fact it is they themselves who are grossly ignorant of what they are doing.

Further, I've seen alot of evidence that at its higher levels, wicca is willfully satanic. People I know getting involved in progressively sinful and then evil behavior and they can't seem to see what they are devolving into. The worst case was a friend of mine whom I ended our friendship when she told me she had sex with a dead body as part of a ritual. Her last words to me was that I was "ignorant". To any normal person, this is an obviously evil and incredibly disgusting act. But, because she had been brainwashed by wicca, intentionally, she could no longer see that.

I went through a stage of wanting to be Wiccan. I realized it was just because I wanted to do magic. *lol* I don't think Wicca is evil or non-valid or whatever. I have a couple friends who are Wiccan and they're some of the nicest people I know. I like the idea of "Harm none, and do what ye will."

Evil 101... mostly for those evil wishes only to decieve... not for the hard core who need to be strengthend in there deception... I did an online search on wicca 7 yrs ago... I spent some time on it... EVERY site I visited at that time had links to go on deeper...ALL of those links eventualy led to greater evil and into satanism and worse... I was not of The Christian Faith at that time... but it scared the hell out of me and I will never have anything to do with all of that evil...

I have been told by some who have gone online recently that most of the witch sites of the wicca and like... have cleaned up the image and deleted the more direct links to the greater evil...
I am aware that most at the entry level of evil that is basic wicca are totaly un-aware of its evil connections... If you are in it...GET OUT

i've got in straightforward terms ever heard of Wiccans leaving Wicca in straightforward terms to teach around and get in touch with it evil in some particular circumstances. One became into an Evangelical Christian author who claimed to have been an ex-Wiccan, yet has considering been shown to be a fraud. The others have been ex-husbands or ex-better halves of Wiccans who have been suing for toddler custody, and utilizing lack of understanding and fake impact of the religion against their ex in court docket. So, once you pay attention approximately ex-Wiccans calling Wicca evil, they're probable the two bitter ex-better halves/husbands, or Evangelicals who're mendacity approximately their former Wiccan involvement. yet various the individuals i understand who left Wicca do no longer do it via fact they suspect it to be "evil." frequently, they go away Wicca peacefully and respectfully, on account that direction now no longer works for them. they have a tendency to circulate in considered one of a few particular instructions -- the two remote from any style of prepared faith, into some eastern or New Age direction, or to a deeper and greater satisfying Neopagan Reconstructionist direction. Wicca frequently acts as a gateway into Neopagan and Magickal paths. that's a beginning factor, and various Wiccans come to a think approximately their direction the place they the two choose some thing deeper, or they provide up on faith all jointly.

Isn't it true that Wiccan was a made up religion created by Gardner no more than 50 years ago to cash in on the occult fad of the time and become rich and famous?

It can be good, or evil depending on the practitioner. I believe most people are just ignorant to what it is really all about and that those of us who use the abilities for good are given a bad reputation from those who decide to use it for evil.

Well, people have to choose to educate themselves. In my experience, the ones who call Wicca evil choose not to educate themselves. It's too bad. I'm proud to be a Wiccan and I too will do my best to answer any questions.

Blessed Be!

Haha.. its surprising how many ignorant people belive that satanism is "evil"

do your research, you get scared because of things which arent even on your "good book"

a real wiccan knows their religion isnt more than 50 or so years old, that is not the oimportant thing

and a real wiccan knows it does is heavily related to satanism and chaos magik

Good. Way better than Christianity. Wiccans are not ignorant and misinformed. But Christians are.
