I would ask you to repeat yourself in English and if you couldn't than i would Try to figure out what you were saying. But i couldn't help but think if you cant speak English something somewhere went wrong for you either a lazy set of parents or the fact that you are indeed illegal. If you could speak English and you asked me a question i have to say you'd be pretty ignorant since if you seen me you would clearly assume that it would be my 1st language

I would just give you a facial expression and lift my hand to tell you I dont understand what you are saying.

I wouldnt know if you are speaking Spanish to me by the way. So if you look impolite with a angry voice, then I will feel offended and yell back at you.

I hate that, I used to live in Chicago and everyone was suprised when I said I didn't speak spanish! Then they just teach their children spanish and leave them to learn English in school. Anyone who says immigration is not a problem is a ******* nut.

No, I would tell you that I don't speak Spanish. If you had some emergency, I would try and help you and find someone who could speak Spanish.
Isn't it great that the spell check even tells you to capitalize the word "Spanish".

I would think that you were another person who mistook me for being Hispanic. I am a African American Indian descended from the Cherokee and Blackfoot tribes on my mother's side.
Hispanics are descended from Indians as well,
the Aztecs and the Mayans.
So although I may not understand all that you may say, we are still brothers and sisters.

I would say to you " I'm jealous of you because I can't speak Spanish and you can. I only wish that when I was young I had learned it when I was given the opportunity.

I would say that in English and would feel even more jealous when you answered back to me in English.

I would probably do one of four things:

A.) Remind you (politely or otherwise) that English is what you speak while in America.

B.) Ask you, "What the hell did you just say?"

C.) Ignore you

D.) In Spanish, tell you to speak English.
