Yes, Lucifer is mentioned in Eze. 28 as being in charge of God's music.
There is no "new music angel," but Rev. 5:8 shows that the next ones to play music for God will be redeemed humanity following the Church's Rapture. Don't let the "24 elders" reference confuse you: they are wearing white robes (which are worn by the redeemed saints) and "stephanos" crowns on their heads (which are only given to the redeemed saints). The reference to "24" refers back to the Levitical system, whereby 24 Levite priests were chosen to represent all of the priesthood. Redeemed believers are priests and Christ is our High Priest; so these 24 elders represent all of the redeemed Church Raptured into Heaven.

Just did a Bible search and there is no passing of the torch that I can see written in Scripture, when Lucifer fell, music fell with him. However, there is still music in Heaven, it is just not mentioned who is the new worship leader, However , lol, Keith Green would be a great choice, travelling

I wasn't aware that he was the muic angel because I always thought he was the angel of light. Lucifer meaning light bearer and because he got thrown out of heaven for "enlightening" mankind.

M&M or Snoop Dog. Only joking, we all know its Freddie Mercury. The fact is that the angel of music is known as nonexistant like god.
