You pretty much answered your own question. In case that's not clear enough for you, if you are "sad all the time" then you are depressed. It is NOT natural to be "sad all the time". Go see somebody. Take some Rx for depression. Get back into life.

Its tough to go through. If lost interest in all things that's a good sign. I've been diagnosed with depression and I though it was in my head but I know deep in my heart its not. You can try to thing positive even though it feels uncomfortable. Over time you will be tired but feel good about your life. If it hurts still seek out help from a pro Dr. Take care.

Well, there's the Goldberg Depression Questionnaire, link below, but I figured out that when I feel hopeless, desperate and unahappy for a period of time that stretches so far back that I can't remember how long I've felt this way, then I know I'm depressed.
I hope you feel better soon.

melancholy is taken care of exceptionally by drugs. Psychotherapy for melancholy serves to maintain the affected person intact on an identical time as the medicine is going to artwork. subsequently, melancholy could be medically, i.e., psychiatrically, evaluated. If the physician believes that medical medical care isn't mandatory, he will refer you to a psychologist or medical social worker; in certainty, the insurance will make him accomplish that. Many psychiatrists use psychologists and CSWs to furnish the 1st line psychotherapy, seeing the sufferers much less frequently--month-to-month as quickly as the affected person is sweet, or perhaps much less frequently as time is going directly to be certain that the meds are effective. Your insurance business agency will maintain a catalogue of qualified psychotherapists. remember they're going to attempt to deliver you to a psychologist via fact they're greater low priced, yet until eventually you have a prognosis or exclusion of melancholy (or different medical condition) you may insist on being evaluated via a physician.
