you must consume more calories than you burn . . so theoretically, if you eat 2500 calories a day, but your body's only using 2000, you are overconsuming by 500 calories a day and will will gain a pound each 7 days (3500 calories equals 1 pound)

You mean you want to gain weight? Just eat large amounts of food every couple of hours and eat junk and sweets. Don't exercise.

You may want to check with your doctor and have him check your thyroid; that can definitely add many pounds to your body, especially if you don't eat enough to have the pounds being packed on.
