Not God is insane but the people who created an imaginative being to justify their wars.

God gave us all we would need for happy lives here. We are the ones who mess it up with our bad policies, decisions and mistakes in judgment. And our soldiers are not there for those ethnic and religious differences, they are there for power and money or oil struggles of our own gov'ts making. I agree we shouldn't proselytize or even try to force an american democracy on ANY country.
I believe 100% that even if US reinstated a draft and put every young person in our country over there it wouldn't help much, but at this point we can't leave the way we destroyed everything in those poor peoples countries. We need to stay and repair what we destroyed. That's my final answer. God isn't insane, but our leaders ARE.

Satan is the God of this world. Only those who Acknowledge that Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life are living according to the truth.
I'm very glad that the President and Congress stopped a madman from personally putting people through a chipper/shredder and massacring entire towns because there may have been a traitor hiding there.

It is unfortunate that blind faith and prejudice are such a force in our society as exemplified by this post.
Across the globe for a century scientifically based Leftist terrorists have murdered across Latin America and Africa a in the name of their secular ideology; the same that spawned the most oppressive regimes known to man in the form of the Soviet Union, Pol Pot, etc. Positivists ideologies dressed in 'science' like Porfirio Diaz in Mexico in the 19th century forced large amounts of people onto plantations and crushed those who objected.
The problem is not God, it is man. The proof is those without God can be just as vicious as those with. What we have here is a man who is looking for an excuse and blowing smoke to cover is his own failings.

Everyone, before answering this question, consider the calibre of the person who asked it.
Here's a snippet from his profile:
"I am the greatest LQQKing Guy that ever lived-I am smarter than most idiots I have met in my life and could run this world if I were allowed to do so"
He goes on to say that he wants to ban all religions.
That's right -- he's in ideological bed with the Communists who have murdered 100 million people and counting.
And he thinks religion is the problem?

I prefer to think he's "intellectually challenged." Kidding aside, I do grieve for those whose children are at war. I fear we may not have the combination of foresight & statesmanship to handle the situation we're in. And from what I know first hand of war, overpowering an opponent guarantees very little if there is support for his cause. You can fight forever after saying "mission accomplished."
Congratulations of the 55+. We're trying for 40.

Don't we have a political section and that's the longest rant I've ever seen without a period.
I don't know if you realize this or not, but we're not in Iraq over religion. I think it had to do with Sadaam killing so many of his own people, which would probably fall under your ethnic variance thing.

....the problem with religeon and different doctrines are that they are all mans idea of God and how to please Him....it does cause hate and fighting and division among men and this was spoken about and pointed out by Jesus and in the teaching of the apostles...so yes, we as Christians realize the problem and so does the world. Men have always ben and always will be infatuated with the physical and try to relate to God and understand His teachings using that perspective and it doesnt work....there is only one true religeon and that is a spiritual understanding of the truth and Gods word.

Since god is generated by brains and some brains (religious ones) are insane, then yes, god is insane.

I would not put the blame on religion, but more on man who appears to enjoy power. Religion is used as an excuse.
