he either really likes what you are giving him or he is eating too much salt/sugar and that is making him thirsty. Check the juice that you are giving him for sodium/sugar levels. If it is high switch to a different juice or try him on water. My 15 month old loves water and wont drink anything else. Medically...it could be lots of things..try these first and if it doesn't help see his pediatrician.

Make an appointment for your Pediatrician or Family doctor and tell him what is going on. Any diabetics in your family?? Excessive drinking of water is a sign of diabetes. You will be doing the right thing in taking him to the doctors.

It could be a sign of Diabetes. My son is the same way and he is fine though. I had my Dr check it out. Luckily he just likes to stay hydrated! Make sure you son is drinking water though and not getting hyped up on juice, etc.

I hope that it's water in his sippy cup. No one drinks enough water thru out any day. Be thankful that his 'plumbing' is working well! :)

He may just be thirsty. But it could also be diabetes. Talk to your pediatrician.

He could be diabetic. Diabetics are always thirsty. I would ask his ped. just to make sure.
