Yes it is, I met my fiance 14 years ago today, and were happier than ever.

Ha Ha, 1) if you deliberately spelled FIRST as FIST, that's pretty funny in case you don't know it.

2) If you meant FIRST: Only if you've been lost in the mountains for two weeks, haven't eaten anything, but you still have your rifle with the telescopic sight and you see a deer: definitely it's love at first site....

3) IF YOU ARE REALLY SERIOUS (never know what you're gettin' these days on Yahoo):

BUT OF COURSE THERE IS. Ever seen a mother just look at her newborn baby?

It is possible, but it's not possible to distinguish it from mere attraction until you get to know the person and find that from the very beginning, it was love.

I think it only really happens for a mother when she sees her baby for the first time.

As for relationships (dating, etc.) I believe that you can be attracted to someone when you first see them. That is not love. It is romantic enfatuation. Real love grows as you get to know someone.

It's possible to start falling in love when you first see someone. I don't think you can fall properly in love the instant you first see them though.

I'd say lust would be, but not love. To love someone, you have to know who they really are, and you can't do that until you know them.
